- Are the trucks inspected before being sold?
Yes. All used commercial trucks are thoroughly inspected by diesel mechanics. While every effort is made to ensure mechanical quality and safety, buyers are encouraged to schedule test drives or independent inspections as needed.
- Can I inspect or test drive a truck before purchasing?
Yes. In-person inspections and test drives are welcome at all Diamond Truck Sales locations. For out-of-state buyers, we provide detailed photos, video walkarounds, and remote consultations to help you evaluate the truck before purchasing.
- Do you sell commercial trucks?
Yes. We also offer a selection of trailers as well for all of your heavy hauling needs. These come at an affordable rate to help you get the job done.
- Do you offer financing for commercial trucks?
Yes. Diamond Truck Sales works with a broad network of commercial truck lenders to help drivers secure flexible financing. We assist customers with excellent credit, limited credit, and even challenged credit. Many of our clients are first-time truck buyers or new business owners starting their trucking company. We have comprehensive first time buyer programs, trade in incentives and more.
- What is the minimum down payment to buy a truck?
Down payments vary based on your credit profile, truck selection, and lender requirements. However, we can get downpayments as low as $0 down on approved credit.
- Will applying for financing affect my credit score?
No. We start with a soft credit inquiry that does not impact your credit score. This allows us to pre-qualify you for truck financing and show realistic down payment and monthly payment estimates. - How long does the financing approval process take?
Initial pre-approval takes just a few minutes. Once required documents are submitted, full approval is typically completed within 24–48 hours. In many cases, buyers are on the road with their truck in just 3-5 business days. - Can I get financing if I’m a first-time buyer or just starting my trucking business?
Yes. We specialize in working with first-time buyers and new business owners. We can also assist with authority setup, insurance referrals, and dispatch training to help you succeed as an independent owner-operator. - Do I need a CDL to buy a truck from Diamond Truck Sales?
No, a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is not required to purchase a truck. However, some units, like semi-trucks and day cabs, do require a CDL to operate. We also carry non-CDL box trucks suitable for last-mile delivery, Amazon contracts, and local freight.
- Do I need to have my business or authority set up to buy a truck?
No. Many of our buyers are just starting out. We provide free consultations to help you apply for your DOT/MC authority, obtain insurance quotes, and understand the next steps in becoming a licensed trucking business owner.
- Can I use your trucks for Amazon Relay, FedEx Ground, or other commercial contracts?
Yes. Many of our trucks meet the specifications required for Amazon Relay, FedEx Ground, independent delivery services, and over-the-road (OTR) hauling. Our sales team can guide you to the right truck based on the job or contract you’re pursuing.
- Do you accept trade-ins?
Yes. We accept trade-ins of commercial trucks based on model, condition, and mileage. Our team will provide a fair market value that can be applied toward your new purchase of a box truck, semi –truck or trailer.
- Do you offer delivery or out-of-state truck buying options?
Yes. We assist customers across the United States. We can help arrange transportation of your truck to your location or offer up to $350 in travel reimbursement if you prefer to pick up your truck at one of our locations.
